Which clasp should I use?

Hello everyone.

I have this akoya necklace and want to replace the silver clasp and put knots between pearls.
I want to use the sapphire and platinum clasp, but I have the gold option also. I'm thinking if they are too large or if the sapphire one is too much for this necklace.

Please give me your opinions.

The pearls appear to be graduated to the point that you probably wouldn't want to wear the clasp at the side, so I'd choose the smaller gold clasp for these.
The Sapphire clasp would be lovely on a larger strand where it could be worn at the side of the neck or at the back, imo. Of course, it's always your choice and if you are able to restring yourself you will always have easy options. Let's hear others opinions ~

Pattye you have an amazing eye. If you didn't said I wouldn't have noticed that it is graduated. But it is. For me, without measuring it it is quite unnoticeable. I think I will agree with you and use the gold one. Thank you. Now look something to use the sapphire one that I really loved for this one.
