What kind of White 14k Pearl studs Earrings are these?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if you can identify the types of pearls these are. I got them from a retail jewelry store. They have 14k engraved posts and are gritty to the touch. They have a light pink sheen over them. This is one of my new job presents to myself. Hopefully I made an okay choice.

What did the jewelry store advertise that they were? Was there a tag on them?

They could be freshwater pearls or they could be akoyas. The price you paid may be an indicator, akoyas being costlier.

Whichever they are, they're pretty! I'd say you made a good choice.

She was showing me fresh water pearls first before I asked to look for more. That's when she showed me these and said that they were saltwater pearls. They were more spherical and we're shinier with a pink sheen. The price was 130 for these pearls.
