Hi Artpearl,

Tried to look, but can't unless I log in, which I prefer not to do.

Sounds like the ring you would receive is not necessarily the one pictured. Only refundable for credit if returned-not acceptable, IMO. .18 ctw diamonds is a small amount and doesn't add much value. If I was spending that much, I want to see "The Pearl," and know I can get my money back if not pleased.

I guess I'm still learning but I had not heard of a white Tahitian. Does this actually exist?

I'm not considering the ring but was stuck by the white tahitian pearl.

I'm with Pattye, I wouldn't spend that much unless I knew the actual pearl I would get, rather than a generic "it's like this" photo.

I don't know where in the world you are? If you're in the UK, their "credit only, no refund" isn't lawful, because it would come under the distance selling regs.

Hi
I'm not going to sign up either
It takes two to three weeks to ship plus delivery time - are they harvesting the pearls especially? No, I'm guessing it isn't actually in stock but has to come in to fill an order....
I'll also point out that it says you can clean a pearl with regular jewelry cleaner. Hmmm
It seems expensive
They are based in Canada.
Distance selling regulations would not apply, (although they apply to remote electronic sales anywhere in the European Union, it is EU law)
There are near white to white-ish Tahitians..they are unusual. If you want a white pearl and diamonds ring then get a south sea pearl!
You would do better I reckon going to a pearl specialist
Probably better left

I refuse to go to another site where I have to sign in! They already put cookies anyway!

White Tahitians are possible, but not typical. I sounds like a sales gimmick. 1500 also sound like a full retail price. I wouldn't touch these guys when there are so many sites that let you look without ID-ing yourself!!! Why do they want to know? So they can sell your address!! Believe me, it is not to help you, but to better themselves!

Hopefully, this will work.

It could be, but from that picture, I strongly doubt that is a Tahitian pearl. Is there more of a description regarding white Tahitians? That photo looks freshwater. White Tahitians typically have a slight grayish tone.

Also, what does gemstone VDE mean? That isn't a diamond grade.

Something doesn't feel right with this piece.

The only description is posted at the begining of thread. I'm quite surprised to see the origin stated as Canada.

Maybe I am being overly picky here, I do not mean to offend anyone but this is my take on this piece.

The pearl looks like a fresh water one.

Here is what really set of my details do not match alarm. The description of the setting. " Gemstones are baguette and full cut and channel, post and bead set". I can see post setting for the pearl. However the diamonds, Are the baguettes, channel or bead set? On my monitor what I see is the are "beads" on the shank as decoration only. Am I missing something here?

Origin: Canada is that the Company origin or where the Diamonds come from?

The overall description, seems like "Marketing fluff". Vague enough to sound impressive, though not enough real information as to true quality of the piece.

On the other hand, maybe it is a real Tahitian and a fluke in coloring. Before considering making a final decision on this piece, as a fellow consumer, May I suggest checking out other sites first for comparable pieces & price points?

Cheers
