Vintage Mikimoto real/fake

Hello everyone, i came across vintage Mikimotos. I wonder if they are real or fake.

Oh well...the photos are very blurry and out of focus as well...so, it makes it all much difficult but those don't look like Akoya pearls but seem more like low quality freshwater pearls.

I agree-- someone put a poorly strung strand of inexpensive freshwater pearls in a Mikimoto box.

Classic FWP finishing that you see being sold in the wholesale trade. They didn't even bother to restring... No knots.

That's a really cheap looking clasp and a poor knotting job. The clasp is about the only way you can claim Mikimoto origin and you still can't trust that because the clasp could be fake or the pearls swapped.
