Vintage Genuine Freshwater Pearls Knotted Sukhmani Necklace

Trying to figure out what the goldish looking decor on this strand of pearls is and if the pearls are worth saving.

I think you also posted this somewhere else. Not very expensive freshwater. Depending on the paint, you can try nail polish remover to make it look more like you want....but full removal will be very time consuming. Look on EBay, under used & see if you can find something that looks like a replacement...... (Always read reviews for sellers.). My guess that $30-40 for large freshwater pearls even with a nicer clasp will replace these....you could donate these to a local thrift store.....someone else might love them!
