To go to Tucson is to bathe yourself in beauty and creativity, and to learn as much as you are open to learning. Everyone should go at least once in their lifetime. You don't have to go to the wholesale shows to appreciate it -- the entire town seems to become a roadside attraction anyway. During the second week most of the shows open to the public and the rockhounds are out in full-force - great fun!

If money is no object, then I would definitely go, as I would ditch my job/career and get trained to make jewellery in white precious metals so that I can handle beautiful gems all the time!

I shall keep buying lottery tickets in the hope I get lucky one of these days
