Hi all
Currently working on the Victorian era (1837 - 1901), and already have some great contributions, including an exciting discovery of a P-G member's hardstone cameo and pearl set pendant that had gone unrecognized.
We're still looking for more Victorian pearl pieces to show, especially Etruscan or Classical Revival or Scottish theme pieces. Would also love to see some American, French, Indian or Chinese items of the period.
The Victorians loved variety and exotic jewelry so this next article will hopefully feature lots of unusual pieces.
Also don't hesitate to show us your tiaras or strings of large naturals!
