I'm curious about this necklace. My mother received this while living in Hawaii from the family that owns the farm. She was told it was worth a bit of money. Just wondering what you think of it.

Ah, one of my favorite styles! If the chain is 14 or 18 karat gold, yes, there would be much more value than a gold plated chain.

I don't know the pearl size I put my finger there as a sort of guide.

Wow , that's a lot of gold ! Love the look of it . Measure the size of the chain links and you can do a search to get an idea as to value. Then you can go to the sites suggested and list it. The pearls are nice and clean.
