Stacking pearls with other types of necklaces?

Just curious if stacking pearls against jade beads is a bad idea? I guess this would also go with layering with metal. Would it be safe if the beads are smooth?

MM, Just my opinion, yes, they should be fine to layer. I often layer my pearls and enjoy that look on others.

I layer pearls and chains all the time...I love that look! Plus, I love wearing my chains and my pearls. Tiny pearls especially layer well with several chains. That is the style right now.

I don’t pamper my pearls at all. Your smooth jade should be perfectly fine and they create a pretty combo. Have fun with your stacks/layers!
