In case you missed the whirlwind live event we had last week at the shores of Lake Kasumi ga Ura, featuring the Pearl Paradise dream team, Mr. Kiyoshi Yoneguchi: the last remaining freshwater pearl farmer in Japan, and yours truly

This was SO fun to be a part of! I can't wait to do another one! Big to the camera crew who captured so much great footage of the farm, and interviews with Yoneguchisan! The best part for me was watching him get to see his pearls sell in real time, the wind that added to his sails was PRICELESS!
My second favorite part was when we walked down to the farm, and a sedge of white cranes left their perches and flew over the farm, whoahhhh, SO beautiful!
My least favorite part was the earthquake the night before the event, right after we got all the lights and cameras set up!

It was a wild ride leading up to this event, a non stop production with constant positivity and laughs. Thank you Jeremy and Hisano and team! What a show!

OH NO, we didn't hear about the earthquake. I'm glad everyone is alright. The PP Live event was amazing. If only I had unlimited pearl funds. But I somehow managed to end up with Hisano's favorite pearl. I can't wait to see it in person.

OH NO, we didn't hear about the earthquake. I'm glad everyone is alright. The PP Live event was amazing. If only I had unlimited pearl funds. But I somehow managed to end up with Hisano's favorite pearl. I can't wait to see it in person.

We were all sitting around the table, hungry and tired.. we heard a rainstorm rumbling/maybe a giant truck/and then the super old amazing house started shaking .. I jumped up and started running around gathering my things and preparing for a night's sleep in the forest.. everyone else just laughed at me. I finally calmed down and we all laughed together. You got a GREAT pearl! Hisano's picks are extra special.

Wow, earthquake scare! We had 2 rare, fairly big earthquakes near here weeks ago; neither of us felt a thing LOL. So looking forward to seeing my Kasumi Suite

This event was so much fun! It was our first time vising Lake Kasumi ga Ura, and Mr. Yoneguchi-san is truly inspiring. I am still wrapping my head around the fact that he manages the entire farm completely on his own. It's mind-boggling!
