Question for the experts

The pearls are 10-11mm and the aquas are 3-3.5 mm. The stones really don't photograph very well...they are super sparkly and look really nice next to the pearls.

I am not sure how to ask a question could someone guide me? I have a set of old pearls and would like to get a real experts opinion on them so I can gauge their worth. can anyone help me?

Post a photo, on a white non reflective background - like a paper towel- include close ups of pearls and clasp showing any markings. Then post it in the Cultured pearls area.

So I had some left over pearls from my round light mix strand (the one with the rondelles) and I ordered some more aquamarines...and this is what happened
And then I decided, hmmm, I wonder how it would look if I wore the original aqua strand made with smaller light mix off rounds in 4 strands.

Thanks everyone! BWeaves inspired me to layer these two together. And my daughter coined a new name for them...Mermaid Necklaces...she said it looked like someone scooped up pearls and beach glass and strung them together. Who else would do that, but a mermaid?

The pearls look a bit distorted in shape, they are all perfectly round.

I have found this vendor to be very fast with shipping...also, I have had no difficulty fitting these tiny gems onto wire, which I know can be difficult. I have ordered from them a few times, and have not been disappointed. If you are going to make one for yourself, just know that it is some what tedious work that's best done with magnification!

Thank You, JerseyPearl! I had that vendor bookmarked, but along with a number of others LOL ... so wasn't sure which was which any longer. I had so much trouble fitting gems on wire before, and I remembered you said these all worked. Magnification is a given LOL. Yes, I have something in mind; inspired by yours and others ... but it will be a while. Got the Tahitians, need some accents and then gem colors to test ... don't look for my new necklace posts for ... a while ...

Glad to have that link again..I have about 5 items from them in my cart at the moment . There is another place I ordered from and the stones were gorgeous...but the measurement was a bit off....2.5-3mm turned out to be 2.0-2.3 .... and another order came in a tad smaller as well. So if you ever use https://www.etsy.com/shop/GauravExports I would suggest that you make it very very clear what size you will accept. ( plus shipping takes a month) I'm still trying to sort out using these teeny 2mm ones...nothing I have fits through them...
