Boy that turned out great JerseyPearl, It looks like it will be fun to wear. Enjoy your new beauty.

JP as Imentioned before I love the dark blue sapphire necklace.
Could you or anyone else help me with colour? Which blue and which batch of pearls? I am thinking of 20 inches together, 8 x 10 mm pearls, is it enough pearls?

I like the batch of pearls on the right with the beads directly below them, which show both blue and green tones, if the color is accurate.

There are way more pearls than you need for that length necklace. I count 49 pearls in that batch on the right.

The tin cup necklace I just made has 40 pearls, smaller than yours. They are 3/4" apart, and the necklace is 45" long including the clasp.

For a 20 inch long necklace you would need probably only 1/3 of the pearls in that batch. I'm guessing 16-18 at most. Fewer if you set them farther apart.

Very nice project Kelluv!

I like the top row middle blue with right side pearls. All the other blues would work with either pearls but I'm not sure about the bottom left sapphires since they are purplish blue. It all depends on what look you want to achieve.
You can have a pearl every 2.5 inches for 20" if you want an even look.

I like the top middle stone beads with the right pearls. Are you doing this as one strand? Multi-Strand? My 4 strand used 22. I did them by strand: 7, 6, 5, and 4, which created a staggered look when the strands jumbled together. BTW, I really like that greenish blue middle photo of the rondelles.

Goody, another fun project, Kelluv! The periwinkle blue would probably be most complimentary to either silver or very dark Tahitians, or dark blue Rikiteas, or white SS. Any of the others seem like they would be great together. Is there any way you can find out what size the drill hole is in the roundels? If very small, it can be a challenge. (Working on a laptop, I've realized the screen isn't the best.)

Thank you everyone for your ideas. The pearls are Jacques' and he is selling them as loose pearls, so I just need to get the amount I needed. I wish I could get the whole batch, that'll be one glorious necklace.
Great point PearlDreams I think I need to space them closer, I had a look at your tin cup and it's much nicer when the pearls are spaced closer. Yes I am making a single strand only. :D
JP, Bailey and Pattye I think I will choose the top middle row of rondelles, they are apatites according to the seller, they have 2 to 3mm or 3 to 3.5 mm in stock. You're right the bottom left won't look as good with these pearl shades. Do you have any experience re durability of apatite rondelles? If they'll break easily I could go for the topaz or acquamarine.
