Question about half drilled pearl

I also use a 2 part epoxy. Called Epoxy 330, get it from Rio. Dries water clear, as long as I mix it correctly there are no problems.

I've only used Rio's pearl solvent to remove old glues from pearls. It works fairly well, although it evaporates quickly. What is this stuff called 'Attack'? It's safe on pearls? Can you soak pearls in it? Where is it available, I haven't noticed it in the jeweler's catalogues.

I am not a jeweler, just a hobbyist. I've used Attack to soak pearls overnight to remove glue. I think it's safe (mentioned elsewhere in this forum).

My golden south sea pearls were in attack for a week without being hurt.

Devcon 2 part epoxy is a pretty courageous adhesive. It's a little messy and I feel like a surgeon when I "prepare" my utensils to use it.
