Please help identifying pearls

Hello everyone, I recently acquired a pearl pendant online, and the seller claims it's a Tahitian pearl. However, based on the photo, I'm uncertain whether it's a dyed freshwater pearl or a genuine Tahitian pearl. The size is roughly 15mm. Any assistance with identification would be greatly appreciated.
