Did you set the pearl yet?

I didn't set the pearl yet, but I have my idea on what i'm going to do with it. Probably a leather bracelet ('kamoka mana style') or a pendant. BTW can anyone help? I remember seeing this Kamoka pearl pendant here. The pearl was won by a PGer and it was set sideways on a special custom made setting (the pearl was baroque or pear shaped I think. The pendant wasn't shown on a chain but on some vintage golden coiled hoop... Anyone recalls? Who was the lucky owner???

Linda: no way i'm going to risk drilling that pearl! I'm too much of a rookie for that! I figure it takes special tools to do it? And much experience... I might have a local jeweler who is used to drill pearls. I have to look in to that. Anyone close to Montreal who would be intersted to show me how to knot pearls?? I need hands on practice with a mentor!

Morpheus has a pearl drill and is in Canada ( they are lining up undrilled pearls in Canada at the moment!) and I think there is a link in my signature to my video on knotting pearls - go on, have a try. If it all goes wrong first time you just undo and start again..and again...silk is relatively cheap

Yes, but have to check if it's worth it for postage fees. How much can it cost to get a pearl drilled?
