This is one of my Blister pearls in a Stick pin and I am hoping someone can advise me as to what kind of pearl it is. I do have an idea but I have no way to be sure. But it looks like it to me.
That being a Natural Blister Pearl - Pteria penguin . But I could be way out.
It also looks a little some of the paler abalone pearls.
I have added photos of mine and also one of the source I found -
http://www.naturalpearl.ch/22801.html - which is of a natural blister pearl Pteria penguin. Shape, colour, everything looks like this ..... but pearls can be tricksters sometimes especially for those that have a little knowledge
Please help to keep me energized while I upload photos and any knowledge or guesses I do have about this considerable collection of pearl stick pins.
Will be much appreciated.
