I bought one as a gift for a dear friend's wife, both of whom have been very supportive during my darkest hours recently.

The husband does not know what she likes, jewellery wise Typical man!

However, she wore costume pearls when we went to a summer ball last year.

This is a great piece at very affordable price IMHO, hence I thought this would make a nice thank you present

The clasp will be YG with diamonds as it would suit her complexion.

I don't know if you'd call me a gentlemen of discerning taste, but don't like the clasp fully extended. However if the clasp was at the front, but set four pearls back, and complemented by Knotty's earrings, it would be a striking sight on any graceful lady.

I don't like the clasp fully extended either. Hence I have not bought one for myself.

Not sure about the earrings, as I seldom wear matching jewellery.

I purchased two of the clasps today and as usual, I'm quite sure what I plan to do with them now won't materialize, but something else will. I like it fully extended. Reminds me of a heart. We shall see!
