Pearl necklace restringing.

Hello,

Can anyone in England recommend a postal restringing service that would take less than two weeks?

My lovely next door neighbour has given me a pearl necklace, the thread is quite discoloured and some of the knots are stretched. The pearls are small and must be forty years old, but the clasp is pretty-14k white gold with a red gem in the middle. I am going on vacation in two weeks time and she is eager for me to take the necklace but I'm worried the thread will break.

I was hoping to visit Pearl Paradise to buy some pearl earrings, but I will be flying out of San Francisco, not Los Angeles, which is a shame.

I am now hooked on pearls!
