I'm not sure on this... with the current clasp it is a nye. I think if it was decorated a wee bit more and a longer length, I might like it better. At first glance, I thought it was MOP and not real pearl. It does look very delicate, which would be a big turnoff.

I can appreciate the work and creativity to the piece. I thought it was MOP at first too. As a necklace, the clasp to be exchanged for another that compliments shape of the links. However, if the artist is drawing a link (pardon the pun) to a classic pearl necklace, ie. also being in vintage box, then the clasp may suit the artists vision.
