Pearl and Gemstones

Thanks everyone! I've got them directly from the JHunter team (unfortunately I do not know which farm they where harvested at exactly). They had the prettiest keshis ever available!

It's fun because I am currently trying to decide which gold (white, yellow, red) colour to get for a necklace, and this a great way of seeing how "silver" vs. yellow look on me against the things I wear.....

Well those ear shots confirm my original thoughts: THOSE ARE FABULOUS!!!!

So fabulous, I almost forgot to comment on the use of rose. You could go several ways for a pendant...either do one in all rose, or do one as a mix of the white and gold metals. I think, though, there is no wrong way here. Seriously, I am in love with these.

I am stunned. These are magnificent! I am so happy for you. Your idea blossomed into something eminently wearable, yet fabulous. T shirt or evening gown worthy!

Posting some eye-candy that I found on the internets here: I think this would be my most favorite brooch of all times! Mabe Pearl, Tourmaline, Picture Agate, Gold Pendant-Brooch, circa 1970 .... if only I could recreate this one day!

Oh, yeah, totally wearable! What kind of mabe do you guys think this is? SoC would be an obvious choice. I've seen Japanese freshwaters online that look similar (https://www.etsy.com/listing/238630...Metallic Gray or Champagne&ref=sr_gallery-1-1 one left ).

I'm actually considering hunting down the required pieces for something similar. I have a ruby that could work. But where to find such angelic agate/jasper mirror slices?

Interesting mabe pearls, morella. Now that Chinese FWP are bead-nucleated, are they making bead-nuked mabes also? (I know it says Japanese but I'm assuming they are Chinese as all the other pearls sold by this vendor seem to be Chinese FWP).

If so, are they using a colored plastic dome, or a colored paste filler after removing the dome, so that the color is seen through the nacre? I'm thinking of the bluer ones. The mauves etc. can be natural color.

I have many Brooches. Loved wearing them... Hope they come back in style

I love wearing brooches on jackets and sweaters, but I live in Florida and don't break out the cold weather clothing very often. Brooches are just too heavy for most of my T-shirts and summer tops.

Many of my brooches have loops on the back to wear them as pendants, but they really aren't "weighted" right to hang as pendants. And again, I really need to wear them as pendants on winter clothing or I get stuck with the pin on the back of the brooch.
