Hello again! This pearl comes from Sulawesi, Banggai islands. It's weight is 2,6g. I bought it lately from a diver who declared it is wild ... but after I never met a single person who confirmed it. There were who could lie me with purpose but also who wouldn't. It should be a cultured pearl. I don't remember, maybe they said, cultured SS pearl ... In Myeik in a family where I stayed the lady of the house had an old pearl pendant with a pearl of similar colour and shape and they were very sure about it's wild origin ... Can blue/pink colour also be related to cultured SS pearls? I don't know yet but I suppose it can ...
Later I got a message from that village that I should check it anyway as the diver is very honest person ... The story of this pearl is long and beautiful. What a world, I still cannot believe this message without asking you! Thanks in advance!

Looks like a cultured baroque SS pearl to me.

But I am no expert.

Good Luck

Well it looks like a cultured pearl from a farm, ( a South Sea pearl ).
Indonesia has many pearl farms, mostly in Lombok and in the east parts of Indonesia.
Sometimes people have cultured pearls, and they say this pearls are natural ( wild ) so that they can sell them more easy.
A wild pearl is normally much much more worth then a cultured one.

I agree completely. It's a cultured South Sea baroque not a wild natural. One side is rounded due to the bead. The shape is very common in cultured, not in natural.

Also agree that it is almost certainly a bead cultured pearl. Never really know without X-raying these days but I am sure we would all be extremely surprised if it turned out to be natural! Just wanted to say that I think the pictures you attached are very good quality and really showed the pearl well which helps us answer your question. Great work!

I have to agree with everybody else, the shape does suggest there is a round bead inside like a typical cultured SS pearl. It is a nice pearl with interesting color and a pleasing shape though - would make a great pendant.

I'm going with cultured SS as well. You have a beautiful pearl there though.
