One For the Divers

Thank you all.

Steve, I took your advice about leaving the top surface exposed to show the colors. I am glad I did. Vincent is very pleased. He said the finished pendant is nicer in real life than the photo.

The pearl and setting offer elegant, flowing lines. Tasteful, balanced ab shapes are so rare, this has rekindled my crush on them. In celebration, I've reposted my poe pipi/paua pin avatar (abs also sourced from Rob and Denise)!

Cathy the pendent really turned out nicely. Both you and Vincent will really enjoy wearing it.

I finally got to see it in person yesterday. I made a leather cord to slip it through. I am determined to borrow this to wear sometimes. The gold work even enhanced the pearl's beauty multiple times compared to its raw stage. Thank you everyone for your compliments.

Cathy That is gorgeous and we love the design.
Having a Conical with good lustre both sides is quite a
find.
I invited our diving friend Russell to view your photos -
after the baby cried for eight nights in a row -
I think he preferred the Conical to BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Must say, we finally got our copy of Hubert's Book,
"Pearls" - we are so happy that our Natural Abalone Pearl
is finally getting recognition.

And now it's Russell's turn to cry for eight nights.

Bittersweet tears, of course.

My first baby cried 3 months every single night. Now I look back and laugh about it. We appreciated the opportunity to acquire the pearl. Vincent is quite attached to his new "love" lately. ;)
