One Crazy Mikimoto Strand!

I love it, talk about all eyes on you if woman walked into a room wearing that.

I am guessing it would need to be a bespoke piece also - made to measure

I wonder if it will ever be worn?

that would be a photo and a half....

Didn't pearl paradise do something similar (a brochure) a few years back in How You Wear Your Pearls, that got folks on PG started on 100 inch strands..., and that was some bunch of creativity!

Well, this is beyond a necklace and completely decadent! It is beautifull and unic, but I doubt it's comfortable to wear...

Ha ha J Shepherd ... considerate of you to forewarn us that they were "sold" in brackets in your post ... in case one of us might have been in the running to acquire them and would have been disappointed at missing out! : ]

In response to Caitlin's comment on Sarah wearing it ("reply with quote" function's still cranky):

If Sarah doesn't mind, here's a pic of from her uber cool series "How to wear Kojima Pearls" on her blog:

http://kojimapearl.com/blog

I'm a big big fan of her and Fuji's offbeat pearls (http://pacificpearls.us/).

IMO, Mikimoto's commissioned multi-strand is for the genteel refined set; Sarah's for the kooky woman/ man who channels individuality.

I LOVE the "Kojima pearls are always tested on animals" pic on the page! Too funny! Check it out!

How many inches are we looking at in the gracefully draped pearls? Anyone know or should we try to figure it out with our imaginary or real 100" pearl ropes?

Sheesh, who is the guy modeling the pearls???? What a dreamboat! :)

From Kojima Pearl's blog? I like Francois' bracelets. On a man, maybe an 18" strand but multiple strands just won't cut it, imo. :)

Sheryl, here she is!

Nora, they (well, Alex, actually :)) says click once on the function (never mind if it doesn't work) and then click and try again. Good luck.

I think Sarah's the new girl crush of the month (cool in my books); last month was Adele and the previous, India Hicks.

How do these women do it all and yet be so cool?
