Didn't pearl paradise do something similar (a brochure) a few years back in How You Wear Your Pearls, that got folks on PG started on 100 inch strands..., and that was some bunch of creativity!

I'm a big big fan of her and Fuji's offbeat pearls (http://pacificpearls.us/).

IMO, Mikimoto's commissioned multi-strand is for the genteel refined set; Sarah's for the kooky woman/ man who channels individuality.

From Kojima Pearl's blog? I like Francois' bracelets. On a man, maybe an 18" strand but multiple strands just won't cut it, imo.
