I was fortunate to rehome a beautiful ombre strand from Pkinnew. I love ombres and like how lightweight and shiny this piece is. Feel very fortunate to own this piece.
And thank you Pkinnew for willing to share this beauty. Sending much love.
Lovely, Kalmen22 - looks beautiful on you!
Kalmen & Purranha, how did you come to rehome these pieces? Did I miss opportunities.... perhaps I arrived at PG after these became available? Thanks!!!
The first time I saw ombre strand (photographed flat on a table), I have to admit I just didn't understand the appeal. But wow, on the neck they always have amazing presence and grace.

Hi lmgarden - our fellow PG member pkinnew posted a thread about rehoming her pearl collection last fall as she was going through chemo treatment. Many of us rehomed her various pieces and wished her speedy recovery. I'm glad to report that she seems to be doing better this year.
Aside from posting here on PG, she also posted on PriceScope and LoupeTroop, and I think the majority of her pieces has been adopted since but she still has more pieces left.
She has a more detailed posting on PS, and I'm not sure what's the protocol on posting PS links here. If one of the mods can chime in, I'd be happy to post link here. Would be great to help her rehome her remaining pieces!
I initially wasn't entirely sure of the ombre as well, thus rehomed the bracelet as a test drive. I'm definitely regretting a bit not rehoming the necklace - it looks stunning on Kalmen!
Here is my sibling bracelet, which I shortened a bit. Posted with baby 7mm Mangareva Tahitians from Jac - one bracelet with dark mix and one with light mix.
Thank you all for the kind comments
Purr your bracelet looks marvellous. And yes we have sibs!
I was also taken with the ombre after seeing some beautiful shots on the neck. Flat on table didn't catch my eye initially. But I do do do so love it on the neck.
Oh, thank so much you Purranha! Very happy to hear pkinnew that you're much better, and remain so!! I'll check 'other stuff' thread on PG - not a member of PS, yet!!
I have attached pkinnew's links at PriceScope & LoupeTroop below.
You can contact her via LoupeTroop, but her listing on PriceScope is more comprehensive.
I hope more pieces get rehomed and stay in the PG family!
Pkinnew is not running a business, so an exception can be made for posts regarding her collection. To give them up is hard, but it must be gratifying knowing that so many pearl lovers in our family are enjoying them in her stead.
