Oh my lord ! I had to laugh at the responses ! You guys are so funny . Wendy ..you have definitely found the Worst Ad of the year . It definitely looks like a Victoria's Secret ad . That was my first thought when I looked at it before I read Wendy's post. Second thought ..he looks like a boy that hired an escort for his prom date and she forgot her dress. Seriously didn't even notice the pearls till I read the post ..and then thought ..they look so ..blah . As for him .. they could have lost the ring and done pearl cufflinks .

I think that's the idea. There's another shot of her in a sexy robe and he's in the bathtub. And I don't think she's his mother.

The designer has some odd ideas. There's a bracelet with a clasp that looks like a hand grenade, and a pendant that looks like an old-style gas mask.

I don't know ..never saw the original ad . I saw Wendy in HK and she said she can't post here anymore ..don't ask ..don't know why. But it just means that, while the OP , she can't answer . I'd have to think there would have been some text - the Ad is not strong enough to convey the Pearl message based on those photos. Maybe they had their name boldly across the bottom ?
