Well, I think it's just LOVELY; the soft charcoal through silver and white color gradient and luster, as well as the shape is very pretty ... especially nice with short hair so one would see the entire range of shades. In fact, I'd add a clasp worth being seen, to have the option of wearing the darkest colors in the front OR back. Now, my opinion is somewhat suspect ... when I traveled to the flower bulb growers in Northern Netherlands, they said my opinion on which flowers to continue selecting out from the fields was "Funny, but Useless" because I loved ALL the Flowers ... kind of like pearls, I love them all LOL.

I love that strand. I would second using a very nice clasp that could be worn in front because I would not want those beautiful Tahitians stuck at the back of my neck under my hair. Somehow, there should be an option to wear this white side front or dark side front, as has been mentioned.

Oooh, or a beautiful Drop Pearl on the dark side, with one of those "claw" style clasps ...

Katbran, yes that is good possible when you have pearls in this size 9- 10 mm, not so easy when pearls go from let's say 9-13 mm.

someone wanted to see this kind of strand with more Tahiti pearls and more extra pearls in the grad section so here is the new strand update

What a totally different look! I like both for different moods. #1 seems more youthful and innocent and #2 seems moodier and broodier.

Cees, Congratulations on a piece with elegance and amazing beauty. I admire you for making a necklace so well matched in size and ombred so perfectly. A lovely clasp will be the crowning touch and allow the focus color to change, or perhaps the invisible clasp would work also, allowing a focal piece to be added on occasion.

I love the second one! I think the graduation would be more visible while wearing the strand.

The second strand is better that is for sure. Thinking of attaching a click system with a bit bigger white South Sea pearl (11-12mm) to make it as an endless necklace whereby the white pearl can be put in or left out when wished.
