Need help IDing two pieces! South sea?

Hi! I inherited this 14k diamond and pearl necklace clasp and I’m wondering if these could be south sea pearls! I also have this necklace from goodwill it is sterling and I’m trying to perhaps figure out (around) when it was made if possible or any info at all! Thanks !

Hi I was wondering what type of pearls they could be ? I’m not able to find my ruler but they are pretty large maybe 6mm.. thanks in advance ! This was my grandmothers.

Lovely clasp, with 6mm very round pearls, these would be cultured akoya pearls. Now you need the rest of the necklace!

The multi strand necklace appears to be cultured freshwater pearls, judging from the eggy, somewhat oval shapes. It's very nicely designed with the oxidized silver stations.

Agree with everyone, akoyas on the clasp, freshwaters on the necklace. That clasp is really very pretty! It looks like it is for a triple strand.

I Love the clasp. It's for the type of triple which is graduated and has small pearls near the clasp. If you buy strands that are not graduated, you can ignore the center rings and just attach two strands of pearls. With a non-graduated strand, you can wear the clasp in front.

My grandmother attached a single strand to one of the side rings, so the clasp dangles in front like a pendant. I wore her necklace like that for years, and then added a second, longer strand to the other outside rings.
