natural south sea persian gulf pearls

Does anyone have any information about the average value of natural salt water Gulf, Solar Sea pearls? I think a 17 mm one was sold for 800 thousand pounds. There is a black crack on mine. Will this affect its value much?

Or is there a jewelery appraiser among us - who can sell the pearls at large auction houses - they can be brought to Turkey or England

The main problem is that you basically obscure the pearl behind your fingers....but the pearl looks cultured to me. Now, If you really believe it is a natural pearl: just send it over to the closest reputable gem lab (I would use SSEF in Switzerland since you are in Turkey) and have it analyzed. Then you can make an informed decision and look for an auction house.
