My Pearls... sharing

I have to repeat, I LOVE this ring. I love a bypass ring anyway, but this one is stunning.

Oh, that golden pearl, so outstanding! A graceful design and a perfect pairing with your own diamond, Masik!

Beautiful ring Masik

Beautiful, looks stunning and comfortable.

Looks very elegant!

I think it’s smashing! So beautiful, Masik-

Stunning golden pearl and setting.

THANK YOU, Ladies!
I am absolutelly floored to see what tourned out of unwanted ring and a wonderful pearl. Elena's jeweler just nailed it - the proportion and scale.
Now... what to dream of next :D

Wow. Definitely stunning and drool-worthy and all the other accolades! You are going to be tempted to wear it 24 hours a day.

Tonight I am sharing another creation of Elena's studio of very talented jewelers: my new set of studs - FLIES!
They are much bigger than the ones Elena brought to the last Ruckus and I am very happy I've chosen those big and amazingly lustrous Tahitians to be turned into these beauties.
I am usually not a huge fan of flies, hehe, but THESE are special!
18K YG, red sapphire cabochons for eyes, Faberge/Russian style of plique-a-jour for wings, Tahitians are 10.5mm x 13.5mm.

They were even chosen to be displayed during a special jewelry show, which is going on right now in Moscow, in the studio of the most famous Russian jeweler of nowadays - Ilgiz Fazulyanov.
and I finally...

I am so proud of knowing these guys and getting some of my pearl jewelry made by them!
I am also excited that to the pair of earrings a pendant also will be added very very soon.

OH, WOW!! Those are fabulous, Masik!! Not a big fan of flies myself but those Tahitian flies change my mind!!

I have a thing for bug jewelry anyway, but those are amazing.

I'm not really into bug jewelry, although I've been tempted by bees, because my name begins with a B, but WOWZA those flies are gorgeous. Wow. Anything Elena does is just amazing. We need ear shots. What kind of back did she put on them?

Hello Everybody!
LOOOOOONG time no hear, no see....
But I am back at this trying time. Staying inside is HARD, but we have no other sensible choice at this time so I am grateful for internet/wi-fi/zoom/whatapp and so on and an opportunity to connect.
Maybe my pictures will brighten your day and will make it a bit more cheerful.
I will continue to show you my ever growing pearl collection, demonstrated mostly on my favorite model - my DIL

I will continue now where I left off - on my Tahitian flies!
Here is the third component of my set - the pendant. Shown on ... ta-da baby Tahitians - 6.5-7.0mm strand I combined with white and yellow gold beads and WYG clasp.

At Pearls by the Bay I was fortunate to snatch a few SoC mabes of an exceptional quality (THANK YOU, Douglas!) and then I sent them to Barcelona to one young aspiring artist to be turned into another insect jewelry set, he-he. He then sent me pictures shot on his model and I liked them so much so I am sharing them with you!
925 silver, oxidized and rhodium plated, SoC mabes.
Mind you, pictures are borderline erotic

Amazing! I've never seen anything like those. So sorry there won't be pearl gatherings soon, so I can see them in person.

Incredible!!!

Thank you, Red! Yeah, this year is out, unfortunately. But I will definitely bring them to any meetup we'll conjure whenever that may be.
My youngest told me these are a male a female Hercules beetles, and I was assured none of real creatures were hurt during the production of jewelry, he-he.
They are very comfortable and light to wear, I didn't "feel" them on my ears at all.
To be continued...

I went through a period of small pearls recently, making pearl chains of different sizes, some are still at work...

2.0-2.5 mm cream baby Akoya from Kojima. 17 mm Tahitian drop pendant, also from Kojima.
