Ashley - Yes. He said the diamond piece could be worn by itself or as an enhancer. I don't know how it's going to look like but it sounds good to me. The pear is 13mm ..no blemishes. And yes... I'm quite happy with his work. Check this one out... it's 22K gold necklace and the details are amazing.

Slraep, I wear diamond studs often, and have been making, and have had my jeweller make earring "dangles" to sit under the diamond around the post - makes both pieces more usable. Is this what you mean?

I especially love the earrings - the drop earrings with delicate work in yellow gold - the black and golden pearls are beautiful. All the pieces are amazing actually....but I seem to have a thing about earrings.....Thanks for sharing these beautiful images of your beauties.....

I agree, it would be more wearable if the pearl could be changed out and worn without all the diamonds. But that amazing pearl does hold it's own against all those sparkly gems! Thanks for showing us the finished piece!

Late looking in here, but wanted to add my admiration for that superb drop/baroque! Regarding versatility, absolutely agree with having the option, if for nothing else to let that pearl have all the attention it deserves.

Yes, the same concept and the diamond stud part becomes either as fancy in design or as plain as you want it. I also have various hook type earring closures(??) and some where the pearl has a miniature screw mechanism that enables me to screw different components to the top of the pearl, such as a small micro-diamond pave disc or a small black onyx disc.

I have to, one day, get my picture taking act together and post something.
