My first pearls!

hi all!! I just discovered a love for pearls, and have acquired my first strand. It is a 52" rope from Catherine Cardellini. Catherine is wonderful, btw, and I highl recommend her. She was able to put this together for me. I love pink! So this is my rope of drips and drops, 12.8-10mm~ish, all pink, peach, and lilac. The colours are very harmonious together, and blend but add interest. These are graded AAA with super lustre, and I have to agree. The lustre is fabulous!!!!!!

Wonderful! I have some pearls close to that color, and they look so pretty with white clothes in the summertime.

Yes! I think I nice white button down would look great with them. The pearls on your cat look close in colour.

Thank you all so much for the kind words! Cathy is working with me on some other things already, so there are more pearls in my future. Nothing white yet though, lol. I think I am going about this backwards, but white rounds are not as appealing to me as all the beautiful colours, lol.

I feel the same way; I prefer colors and baroque pearls too, so it may be awhile before you will consider white pearls. The only white pearls I have ever liked are the metallic whites, but so far I have only seen them in round pearls. The metallics come in other colors too, so if Cathy has some, have her send photos.

I know, I do... I feel like colourful ropes will be my thing. I like the weight, and to be able to see them looking down, lol.
