Oh, I love that brooch. Don't cannibalize the brooch. You can buy a couple of pearls and couple of small diamonds for not too much, or Pearl Paradise might have a setting that looks similar already and they do custom work, so they could find you the "findings" to make that pendant.

I like this combination as well. It's quite eyecatching.

When I took the poll i thought the peridot was too bright for the pearl but seeing them together now I think you should go for it.
