My 9.0-9.5 Silver Blue Baroque Akoya Strand from PP

I did not want to hijack Moneymeister's thread on her blue akoyas so I started one of my own. These are my birthday present to myself because I have been wanting a strand of these for quite some time. I wanted a 20" strand & the only available ones were in the 9.0-9.5mm. I would have liked them to have a stronger blue orient but the luster is really incredible & I like the larger size. I'm having to learn the camera on my new phone so please forgive the pic. I'm having a tough time capturing the color because the camera seems to be washing the color out. I'll get the hang of it & post mod shots later. Anyway...this is my strand without the flash.

It's beauutiful! Blue Akoyas are my favorite. I think they "glow" more than any other color on the neck.

Thank you, lilliefuzzysocks. I've also ordered 2 strands of white baroque Akoyas with silver blue Akoyas spaced throughout. One is 19" & the other is 21" of 7.5mm. I plan to nestle the baby blue Akoyas between the other 2 strands. I'm hoping it will look like I envision.

Yes totally agree! My fun car is a convertible Lexus. 4.3L V-8 Puts a little more pep in my step, lol! Love that car! Can never be unhappy driving a convertible!

Lovely blues! I also have a twenty-inch blue baroque Akoya strand from Pearl Paradise, though mine is 7-7.5mm, I believe. Just know that the blue bug can bite hard - I have since acquired an eighteen-inch strand and bracelet (also from Pearl Paradise), an eighteen-inch 5.6-6mm Vietnamese metallic BBA strand from Pearlescence, blue-colored Tahitian keshi earrings, and am coveting your blue-and-white mixed strands by description alone.
