More Fiji Pearls

Oh yes, translation using software creates great hilarity!! And yes, I love to laugh. ;)

By the way, I understand that when you write "traduce" you are attempting to translate traduire -- but the correct word is "translate".
"Traduce" is also an English word but it means something different. Per Merriam-Webster dictionary:
Definition of traduce

traduced; traducingtransitive verb
1: to expose to shame or blame by means of falsehood and misrepresentation
2: violate, betray
 • traduce a principle of law

But I think we've wandered pretty far off topic.
Back to Fiji pearls!

This made me giggle. My husband's first languages are (Moroccan) Arabic and French. I speak Middle Eastern Arabic fluently and a little bit of French, but I've gotten really good at translating his Anglicized versions of words from his first languages. I believe he's said traduce to me a few times.

Because I travel a lot and love visiting off the beaten track places, I've developed a Tarzan language to help me get what I want LOL....;) And yeah, a calculator helps when shopping .

We are happy with our babies.
Will post more:)

Perhaps it's my own language difficulty, to understand that when a seller says to me I am a keshi, I am flamed (or insulted, I don't fell the difference)... I find strange vegetables on a market, sold as potatoes. I ask the seller if these are true potatoes, no reply but at last, he tells me that I am a potato, how is it called?
In fact, I talk about that to point difficulties to buy online. I think that the problems are real and plentiful, to see how websites like Aliexpress, where I often buy, have developed such severe trading policies, to keep buyers' trusting relationship.
But it's far from Fidji pearls and their beauty...:)
In what language(s) were you trying to communicate?

Thank you for the photos of your Fiji pearls, Justin. Gorgeous!

In what language(s) were you trying to communicate?

Pearlescence, I don't well understand the sense of your question  Theorically, I tried to communicate in english (maybe you know chinese language? but, sure, chinese people don't know frensh)... Well, as I write english as a donkey, it's true that humans can't understand me.

Two people trying to communicate in a 3rd language that neither of them is fluent in can produce interesting results.;)

WOW, Justin! Thank you for the look at this year's stunning harvest!! Congratulations :)

Promis, la prochaine fois, j'essayerai en chinois:D... Seriously, I look forward to work one of these amazing pearls!

I understand a lot of French but I can neither write it nor speak it properly LOL.

Justin, those Fijians are to die for. Please don't tempt me :p
