learning more about pearls

Hi,im a new member Nilofer from sharjah .I would like to start collecting natural pearls.kindly do help me in learning more ..i have read most of the articles in the forum..Out of curiosity i examined a broken pearl that i got from a jeweller under the microscope.Took some pictures.What kind of a pearl does it look like..There are two microscopic images of whole pearls too..

This one looks like a blister pearl.
 
Thanx..Here is a pic of the broken pearl that I.So are these blister pearls natural or cultivated..

Now that I actually see the pearls: these are freshwater non-beaded freshwater pearls.

Not really. Everyone can do it...you just need some training. That's all!
But the original photos you sent made me "see" something different. Once I saw the actual broken pearl: it was a complete giveaway.
 
If you look around this forum... you will see a few "natural" pearls (one thread someone collected them) I happen to have 5-6 natural pearls that are from Victorian time...they are small and rather triangular. The Victorians used those few natural pearls well, but they are not particularly "pretty." Most pearls are cultured and they tend to be much "prettier."

if you dont mind me asking what in the broken pearl shows that it is a freshwater pearl…just for my knowledge…
It is it's whole inner structure.
Then, I also saw the other pearls you have...they all look like freshwater pearls.
You should take the "Pearls as One" pearl course.
