learning more about pearls

Hi,im a new member Nilofer from sharjah .I would like to start collecting natural pearls.kindly do help me in learning more ..i have read most of the articles in the forum..Out of curiosity i examined a broken pearl that i got from a jeweller under the microscope.Took some pictures.What kind of a pearl does it look like..There are two microscopic images of whole pearls too..

This one looks like a blister pearl.

Now that I actually see the pearls: these are freshwater non-beaded freshwater pearls.

Not really. Everyone can do it...you just need some training. That's all!
But the original photos you sent made me "see" something different. Once I saw the actual broken pearl: it was a complete giveaway.
