Kamoka earrings from Josh

Sorry Nora! So beautiful kamokas brain is away! Of course Ivona's pearls!

Your Komoka studs are swoon worthy! Definitely on my short list!

Ivona, I collect Cherry Tahitians also and purchased a pair like yours from Josh at the 2011 Pearl Paradise ruckus in Los Angeles. I also have the matching strands (2) from Jeremy at PP. I don't know if you read the PP blog but they got more stock. http://blog.pearlparadise.com/
Anytime I find more pearls to add to the strands, earrings or perhaps a ring I buy them. I needed some dangle earrings to go with my two pairs of studs. The center pair are on their way to me now.

I honestly love the color of your pearls. I tend to surround myself with peacock Tahitians. I find them so interesting even if they are more common, but if your cherry ones look in hand as they look on the photos, I lift my hat to you by choosing them over peacocks.
I'm definitely due to to do the trip to PP. I think it might be the ONLY way for my to see so many different type of pearls in the same place. Might be worth my money and time to cross the continent to have this experience. Problem is that I don't know if my bank account could survive my visit to Jeremy's vault!! I'm a greedy little witch when it comes to pearls... I never have enough of them. Over the time I became more selective in what I "have to have" ( few years ago I wanted ALL the pearls), but there is still so many that I would like to add to my collection... Crazy, I know.... I can not wear them all...

Jeremy Shepherd drilled it and I added to the center of the larger MM strand. I keep buying loose and adding them in. Always on the lookout for them. LitGeek, if you don't have some in your collection yet, dip your toe in, you won't regret it.

With this strategy, you are going to be a queen of cherry tahitians in a couple of years ;)

Dizzy, I wanted a larger MM strand, but they are so hard to find. If I am lucky enough to find a large loose pearl I add it into the front of the strand. Sooner or later I will have two strands and use the smallest pearls for a bracelet.

Yes, I agree...I definitely need some cherry tahitians! What a great idea for buying loose and adding to your strand

Yes, Josh's pearls are breathtaking! And addicting, haha, you can't just have one  I have these beautiful dark green peacock 9mm studs from him that I wear pretty much everyday. I would LOVE some aubergine drops!

I specially liked the Kamokas...incredible overtones and great luster. You can see Josh's love in them...

Thank you so much for that link Ramona. Shows what really is important. Thank you too Josh!!!

I keep on procrastinating. I am very good at it.

That is a big blog and very interesting. I am a Mt. Everest freak and have seen videos of the Mayo clinic or someone else doing the high altitude testing.

Plus this blog has links to some sandals, hauraches, that appeal to my funky soul. ( no pun intended, ;)) Rawgnar, the brand link is in there somewhere or go straight to the website. I love those sandals. They are like the classics ones made by the running tribes of Northern Mexico, esp the Tarahumara. They used to be made of leather when I wore ones like them (I made them myself) and my only complaint was the leather gets slick and slips when wet. the Rawgnar people make them out of manmade non-slip materials and claim them to be running shoes. I don't run, but have seen a lot of those sandals being worn by Indian runners and they are great for the barefoot freaks. You can get instructions from Rawgnar on how to make them yourself, even.

Sorry for the interruption, but that website is trippy, trippy, trippy for a Sunday AM perusal.
