I picked up a couple strands of these cool feather pearls from Pacific Pearls (very lovely to work with) and decided to pair a few with some rough cut spinels on lavender nylon cord.

Thank you! I was enamored with the pond slime color and the shape of the feather pearls. I can't say enough how nice it was to work with Fuji Voll at Pacific Pearls.

I want to second that. One of the most knowledgeable and connected people in pearls, he is so gracious and charming too. Also Sarah's pearl mentor. Everyone should check his pearls. He will also be at the Pavilion in Tucson--I hope?

The colors of he stones go nicely with the pearls! I'm a fan of colored stones combined with pearls.

I love to see Etsy people posting here, so I thank you too. I also agree about pearls and pastel stones. It is hard to pastel and get an ethnic look, but I think there is something rustic and unfinished about that piece- like found objects or something. It makes it seem talismanic, if there is such a word. Maybe magical would be a better word. As though it was put together with a touch more than the urge to decorate; it was made to create a bit of magic where ever it goes.... The string is perfect.

Thanks. that's just what that piece inspired me to think. Somehow has a old vibe to it, really ancient. I like your taste and look forward to seeing more creations!

Doesn't it make you want to make another one right away? That's how it is for me, when I've just finished something...

Yummy piece! It almost looks edible, the gemstones look like rock candy ;) Very creative!!

You are quite welcome.BTW, I love those diamond art nouveau earring in your store. They are TDF!!
