Jewelmer Store Stuffs

Wow! That's an amazing strand, Perlas! They glow on you.

Those Tahitians don't look bad at all, either! Stunning, both strands.

Thank you ladies for the nice words! Jewelmer's baroque pearls do glow! The thing is, I'm not sure I could go back to less than Jewelmer luster for golden baroques! It's like seeing Paspaley whites and everything else looks less somehow. Unless ofcourse hand-picked by resellers. :) Today I went back to Greenhills. I was considering buying a natural colored golden oval strand which is bigger than my Jewelmer strand. The surface was clean but the luster...it isn't bad but I guess it is unfair to compare it to a Jewelmer Store strand! Ofcourse, there is a substantial gap in pricing. Here's the strand side by side:

I'll also throw in a photo of a Jewelmer white baroque of 13mm - 17mm during my last visit and some small rounds.
The strand with some pearls with flat sides is a more affordable alternative to the round strands. :)

Lol Perlas I would have loved to adopt one of those lesser Greenhill strands! ;)

The strands were clean! :)

Your strand is simply outstanding...and thank you for showing the comparative photos. The smaller green hills strand seems to be the better luster of the two? And all I can say of those in the second photo...WOW!

JerseyPearl, the smaller ones tend to have better luster....as the size goes bigger luster is compromised...lustrous biggies are a challenge to find...and keen observation! The smaller one has better luster while the larger one had deeper color. :)

Besides the intense luster and fine color, your strand has a unique charm that the others lack.

All of those are gorgeous strands, but your Jewelmer is spectacular! It is really educational to see the comparison. What was the sizing of the inner-most strand on the top photo?

The biggest pearl is 13mm and smallest around 10mm.

You are right, Perlas ... while each strand is pretty on it's own merits, your Jewelmer strand leaves the others behind in the dust, having so much more life and character. Thank you for such careful comparison photos :)

PearlDreams, MSC, Cathy, and Katbran,

That is why it is important to always bring a comparison strand! :)
