JP -Are all your earring pearls drilled to 1mm? Or do those ear nuts fit smaller pins? The Fire Mountain are Gold filled but they don't give measurements that I can see. Your's from Bella are 14kt and the price doesn't seem too bad really at 50/pr - I get some that look the same but they are 9mm and only sold in 9kt or 18kt ...the 9kt are 40$AUD a pair and the 18kt are 112$ (ouch)

The peg post on the earring (part that attaches to the pearl) measures out at just below 1.0mm, so I half drill to set at 1.0mm. The post portion of the stud pearl cup are a tad smaller. These are the pearl stud cups I used: https://www.bellafindings.com/26302/14ky-7mm-cup-heavy-weight-pearl-stud-earring.html I'm heading out the door soon, but can measure the peg later and PM you.

I really like them because they are a nice weight and support the pearl well. I used a 7mm cup size for these pearls. Both the backings and the pegs come in a variety of sizes.
