It looks like a typical Osmena nautilus shell cabochon to me. The 3rd picture shows the pattern of the shell. I like your 1st picture, very pretty.

I agree with the others and own several pieces of Osmena pearl jewelry. The natural blue is much like the blue of Akoya Pearls. Some are more white or silvery. Some are dyed other pastel colors. I'm not sure how available the cabochons are now, but once were easy to find on ebay.
