I scream silently ‘YES’. We can measure the quality and beauty with comparative knowledge. Personally, I was troubled with the tips of how to test pearls. Besides, I learnt better when I added up tips of ‘NO NOs’ to ‘BIG YES’. I love every bit of moment of learning from PG.

I can’t resist one more important matter though not related directly to this post. However, it is highly related in the most general way:
I was one of those pearl seeker, buyer lost on online resources. No doubt more people are in similar situation. I was fortunate to find PG before naively wasting more than 1 year and thousand of dollars to find dream pearls at online shops. I have been thinking how reliable resources can be made readily reachable like:
* Platforms - eg. PG, PP educational articles, PP podcasts
* Specialized shops - eg. PP, Pearlescent
* as well as highly experienced pearl buyers, customers like members here

Please don’t easily side to ‘search on GOOGLE’. Though search engines are great, Artificial Intelligence presents 100s of results which usually will have incredible amount of information noise - misleading and confusion. My break point was ‘give a try to that shop’ without even employing my own NO NOs’. I ended up buying a pair of pearls and now looking back, I realized my ignorance of the most important online shopping rules. When I searched I did not know any reputable vendor or expert name other than 2-3 big jewelry companies. I believe that is the start point for most of the pearl shoppers WHO SWITCHES FROM IN-STORE to ONLINE SHOPPING. Someone may ask why that transition:
Simple: very limited type of pearls and colors and lack of fresh and statement designs of pearl jewelry - the exceptions do exist ar high end brands to some extent; sadly their jewelry are not economically affordable or ironically high priced.
Back to the question: how can we increase the readability of dependable resources for pearl lovers?
Easy start: is it legally acceptable
to verbally promote, eg. PG or a seller with statements of personal experience on Instagram, especially not being paid or no gain of profit?
We can come up with many creative ideas to increase the presence and reachability of ONLINE reliable PEARL resources for inexperienced people.

Wishing everyone a great day.
