My mom [in the US] got both of these strands via home shopping networks, almost definitely in the last ten years. The white strand on the left is in its original ziploc baggie with its label of 8.5-9mm pearls. Can anyone estimate what size the smaller strand is? I don't have a way to measure them and don't have an eye for it yet, I hope this side-by-side picture is enough.

1. How many pearls does the smaller strand have?
2. How long is the 2nd strand (including the clasp)? If you don't know, lay the strand out with the clasp opened and use a ruler to measure it end to end.

57 pearls on the smaller strand. Looks like it's 20". Thank you for telling me to measure it and to include the clasp.
49 on the 18" strand.

There are small softwares that can do the measurements on images. You measure one pearl of each strand using the software, then do a simple math. I used to use one but don't recall the name unfortunately. I'm sure you can find one using Google.

Another way for an accurate answer is this little tool: https://www.etsy.com/listing/249162014/, affordable and measures all pearls under 20mm.

Just by visual, I believe they are 8-8.5 as well.
