Help identify pearl

Hi, Im new member, i will start to show you a pearl that i found, It's not perfectly round. it measured 24.2mm (weight : 19.4 grams), i have alredy read that the real pearl makes yellowish color under led light and green color under Uv light, I did the same test and everythings are going good....

In an old box. i have never seen that before. the pearl was held in an old masterpiece (jewish maybe)

They are just beads. I see the big drill holes there, typically glass beads.
 
I don't think so, but you could always send it to a laboratory that is able to test pearls, such as the GIA, for identification.
 
No i didn't drill a hole. i bought it from antique store as seems in the picture

It's okay to find a bargain and hope for a windfall, but this is NOT A PEARL. It has no value and will not be taken seriously by anyone. Sorry. :)

anyway. The laboratory has the right to decide if this is a pearl OR NOT
 
Yes, I have that book, too, pages 90-95, but look again at the photos! The giant clam pearls do not really look like your sphere, other than being white...and some are not even that white, and certainly not so round. The surface also looks different.

A gem lab that tests pearls is the best way to be sure, if you really want to know. Certainly if you want to be able to sell it, a certificate will make all the difference.
I have nothing more to add to this discussion so I'm out now. But you may wish to look at Kari Pearls and The Pearl Collector websites.
