The photo I posted in Tom's Natural pearls thread. I took them at the gem show 2008 in DTS' booth.
The one that is translucent is not a gem because of the shape, though it is walnut sized! Too much translucency on one side is no halo, but by tilting it this and thataway, you can see these iridescent sheets running to the edge. If it were much rounder, the water would be much more attractive. Tom's pearl has a a bling factor around the edges as you move it. It flashes on and off as you turn it..
