Welcome to Pearl-Guide!

Here is the Caratheum website section with 3 pages of pearls-- this ought to give you an idea of what this brand's pearls sell for at retail:

Edit: I forgot to add that that is a beautiful necklace!

I don't have an answer for your price suggestion, but I can say that it is one GORGEOUS Tahitian strand! The colors, size, shape, and luster are fantastic!

Stunning!!! That is an absolutely beautiful strand! Assuming that the necklace is AAA grade all the way through, I'd say you'd be looking around the $6,000-$8,000 range from a vendor online. If you go through a brick and mortar location, you could be spending at least $18,000. That's just an estimate though...

Many thanks f?r quikly feedback. I dont think it is a absolutely a AAA grade, because the vendor said it contains minimal growth characteristics. Would you pay $3.000 for that? I am uncertain if this price is appropriate for the quality, with consideration from value stability risks. I don't expect to buy it again and to make money, but it should be good investment. What do you think?

If I had $3,000 to spend on a Tahitian necklace, yes, I would pay $3,000 for that.
Definitely.

One small point about the word 'investment'. As I usually say, pearls are like cars. Buying a var is hardly ever an investment, neither are pearls. The reason to buy them is to love them and wear them. That being said. It sounds like this strand would be good value for money, meaning that it sounds like you could get a lovely strand at less that you would usually have to pay. It's still not to be considered an investment, more a special piece of jewelry to be trasured for a long time to come :)

You need to be sure that you will receive that necklace. not another similar but not so good. It looks as if it has very good lustre and colour and shape and a 14ctgold clasp. I'd say that's a good price, so long as the seller checks out as reputable and reliable
If it is an EU seller he, like me, will have to conform with the Distance Selling Regulations so has to give a refund if you want to return it if he is an online seller.

I'd say $3000 would be an excellent price for 12-14mm round pearls with great luster and color. Just contact the vendor and make sure you're comfortable that you will receive the exact strand as pictured.

I would most definitely pay $3000 for that particular strand, but as Wendy stated make sure that is the exact strand you will receive.

I too would pay 3k USD for that strand!!!

DK :)

How I can make sure I will receive the exact strand as pictured, not another similar? I am able to pick it up by myself and varify based on pictures (I have more), weight und size of pearls. A friend, he is a lokal jeweller, said it is a reliable seller. What should I consider more?

That will be enough. A good seller reputation (which is paramount) plus picking up the strand in person, checking weight and size. You'll definitely be able to tell whether the strand you are picking up is the one in the listing.

If you can try it on - see if it looks fabulous on you. When you are spending that much money you want something which you will want to wear all the time and which makes you feel super amazingly beautiful, elegant and generally fabulous.
