Adorable! Was this necklace for a child, or for yourself?

That is lovely porcelain-- what pattern is it?

Inga, I collect antique/vintage porcelain and was curious if there is a maker and pattern on the bottom of the piece.
Is it Lomonosov?

Oh, that is darling! The handles, the feet and the knob and leaves on the top-- so nice! Thanks for taking the time to photograph it. :)

Inga, I had a little fun looking up your exquisite porcelain. (I hope no one minds my little hijack of the thread.)

Here is what I learned....

The brand is quite old! Nymphenburg (legible in the photo above.)

Here is the Nymphenburg's website with lots of fascinating information and photos: http://www.nymphenburg.com/en/home

Now here is the fun part-- this 12-sided antique shape is called "Perl" (pearl-- because of the line of "pearls" along the edges) and the pattern is 1390. (I couldn't find a name, just the pattern number, which is the same as the number on the bottom of your tureen.) The finial (knob) is a pomegranate and the leaves and handles are Acanthus.

About the Pearl shape specifically: http://www.nymphenburg.com/en/products/dinnerware/pearl

Here is an article on German porcelains, including a section on Nymphenburg; if you click on the gallery tab, there is a photo of a tureen with the same shape but different pattern (last row of the gallery, second photo from the left):
article: http://www.globalblue.com/destinations/germany/germany-the-perfect-setting-for-porcelain/#tabs-1-1

Google has so many images of Nymphenburg porcelain-- a feast for the eyes for anyone who enjoys vintage and antique porcelain.

Okay, my hijack of the thread is over. ;)

Pearl Dreams, thank you so much !
Yes, I know about that))) just hard for me write in English , I don't know language well (((

What a lovely strand of little pearls! Love that sweet little clasp too. And your porcelain piece is magnificent!

I am really loving the luster and shape of your baby FWs!! Just lovely. My favorite photo was the last one with the pearls spread against an ostrich feather (although the porcelain is very elegant, too!), I love the mix and match with different textures. :)

oh i love your photos! as you've possibly seen recently, my photography skillz are nil, i appreciate good photos immensely! i also love the use of the antique ceramics - just gorgeous! (adorable pearls, as well!)
