Thankyou for your reply not a disappointment at all because the value of the actual pearl itself doesnt really matter(just wanted to know for interest) the value to us is priceless, we couldnt have sold it anyway because it is such a big thing to our kids and they love the story that they can tell,not much of a story if you dont have the pearl to show off as well. It will go back in the cupboard for a while until we get it made into a ring for our daughter. Thanks to everyone that has commented.
