Hi Pearl Friends!

Some Ruckus attendees might remember Juliebeth kindly helping me choose my first Fiji pearls a few years ago. Lots of thinking, planning, searching for materials, and waiting for all those stars to line up ... leading to today's package.

The pearl babies are from our friends in Fiji; roughly in the 9 - 10mm range, mostly smooth drops and near rounds with a few circles, rings and lots of color banding. Finally found the right 14K gold chain on a discontinued roll at Bella Findings in Los Angeles last year. When our own PG friend Sarah from Oceans Cove posted the Fiji and Diamond mis-matched earrings, I was online messenging in seconds. I asked if she'd be interested in working on my loose Fiji pearls and to my delight , she said "YES!" There was a even bit of chain and a few pearls left for a bonus Tassel! Sarah is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I am wildly delighted with these pieces. ALL photo credits belong to Sarah, as I am hopeless with a camera, and she's ... a magician as far as I'm concerned :)

Simply beautiful! They will go great with your Fiji strands too. Enjoy ;)

Here are some photos of the matching Necklace. The clasps are the same between bracelet, necklace and tassel, so I can mix, match and play between these pieces and my older Fiji strands ... Happy Day! Thanks for celebrating with me :)

Thanks Pearl Queen; I owe it all to you :) I look forward to mixing and matching with those older Fiji strands, especially the earrings, which will go with ANYTHING.

Note: I downsized these photos for the web in a new to me way. I see some blurring; Sarah's original photos are razer sharp, crystal clear and incandescent.

Just beautiful, and so beautifully made - congratulations!

What patience you have, to wait for all the pieces to come together for this splendid project! Many happy congratulations, CathyKeshi!!!

Oh Cathy, I am so thrilled that you love your new pieces! I am in love with your Fijis... And just a note on that chain, it looks a bit less substantial in the photos...it is absolutely gorgeous, with texture on the round links and high polish on the oval links.

Beautiful new fijis CathyKeshi, JerseyPearl did a great job. Just wonderful.

OMG!!!! What a fantastic look! I'm so happy for you, Cathy. I have no doubt you'll be wearing these often!!! Such wonderful & versatile pieces. I just love Fijis!!!

OMG- Cathy those are just special! Sarah does the most amazing handwork- her wire wrapping is superb. The design and chain and pearls and tassel are just so gorgeous and versatile! Congrats! Wear in good health!

Special appearance by the Earrings and another peek at the Necklace, thanks to JerseyPearl! She's right on the chain ... it's so much prettier in person. The little rope circle links add texture, the flat ovals create serious sparkle, neither overwhelms the pearls. Most nice filigree chain seems to have disappeared from the marketplace, and both Walter and I balked at the only other filigree chain I liked: Antique French chatelaine pieces at upwards of $6,000 - $10,000 + ... and it would be a shame to cut one of those up! Lucky find at Bella that day; they showed me dozens of chains before a senior customer service lady got a gleam in her eye, said "I KNOW ..." and brought that out. It was the "I'll give you a great deal on this" that sealed the deal :)

IMy thanks to our JerseyPearl are boundless and joyful!

Wonderful Fiji pieces, Cathy. You are so patient in waiting until things are exactly right. Love the night shot. It shows that Fijis have different body colors, not just different overtones. That's why I love them so. So much of the year we have dim lighting and Tahitians don't look all that great. Fijis are so beautiful.
