Fiji Pearls Newsletter

Jeremy - thanks for passing this on. Great to see another farmer caring for the marine environment, his own local community, and the larger Fijian community. Oh, and the pearls are pretty nice, too.
I didn't see any figures regarding this year's harvest... other than the production loss due to transportation issues. Any word on this?

Scholarships for post-graduate students and local kids, awareness of the environment. Even a willingness to say, "Oops, we made a mistake, we learned from it". And beautiful pearls. I've heard of J. Hunter before but this gives me a whole new perspective.
It's doubly impressive given the current world financial situation.

Thanks for sharing Jeremy.

Beautiful edition.

... good idea for Sunday brunch too (dairo! - it's been ages!)

Thank you, Jeremy. It's nice to know there is another farmer who cares about the environment and the community. I find it different that his lines do not have the wire caging like other pearl farms.

Impressive. The Board of Tender Beauty Foundation, Inc. would love to hear from him about partnering on marine preservation projects.
